We have conducted extensive research into what works best in classrooms. We have visited a number of schools where new technologies have been implemented and have talked with educators who have used them successfully. Based on that research, we have identified some key technologies that we are confident will increase our ability to help all students learn.

Our goals are lofty, aggressive, and focused. It will require us to go outside of our comfort zones and seek funding from the private sector. We believe that these technologies will enhance our ability to educate our students, and that being said, we are willing to stretch ourselves, our individual talents, and our resources to make this happen.

 

We believe that all students can learn, that kids are inquisitive by nature, and that they love to explore their world by touch. As educators and parents we are committed to student learning. In order to achieve superior student learning we believe we need to enhance the classroom with new technology, allowing our students to keep up with the world around them and learn in an environment that best suits them. To that end, some schools in the Weber School District have begun their own initiatives to provide our teachers with the newest and most advanced classroom technologies to allow them to better meet the needs of all their students.
